Edit Contact
Once you Create contacts, the next thing is to make sure they are correct. Surfer may not place the contact point in the location you want it to by default. In that case you can edit it. Click the 3D View | Contacts | Edit command to edit contact picks from drillhole data or right click any individual contacts listed and select Edit Contacts.
Once you click the Edit Contact command you enter Edit mode and the cursor turns into an (open hand). In Edit mode you can :
-
To move a contact point, click on it and drag it up or down. You can drag any contact point, even if a different one is currently selected (indicated by a selection box).
-
To delete a contact point, click on it to select it (a selection box will appear), then press the DEL key. Dragging a contact point doesn't select it; only the selected point will be deleted when you press DEL.
-
To add a contact point to a drillhole, CTRL+click on the drillhole.
-
If the drillhole is missing a point for only one contact definition, the contact point is automatically created for that specific contact.
-
If the drillhole is missing points for two or more contact definitions, a dialog will appear asking you to specify which contact the point is for. Select the desired contact for the clicked location and click OK.
