Complex Polygon Definition

A complex polygon is an area with more than one polygon, but is stored as a single object. The complex polygon may contain islands, such as the Hawaiian Islands or lakes (holes within an area). A complex polygon consists of one or more rings, a set of vertices that closes on itself.
