Idrisi Binary Vector .VCT File Description
Surfer imports the Idrisi Binary Vector .VCT format. VCT files are paired with documentation files (.VDC). Sometimes there is also an associated .REF file. Each IDRISI Binary Vector .VCT file includes only one feature type: point, polyline, polygon, or text. Each feature is described by a single numeric attribute and one or more XY coordinate pairs.

Loading .VCT Files
Idrisi Vector VCT files can be loaded to create a base map (Home | New Map | Base) with the Import dialog.
