64-Bit Access Driver

In order to import Esri Personal Geodatabase (*.mdb) files, you must have the Microsoft Access Database driver installed on your machine. It’s shipped as part of the Microsoft Office suite and comes in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Installing the 32-bit Microsoft Office suite will install the 32-bit Access Database driver. Installing the 64-bit Microsoft Office suite will install the 64-bit Access Database driver. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn’t allow BOTH to be installed simultaneously on a 64-bit Windows platform. If you need to import data from Esri Personal Geodatabase files into Golden Software products, you must install the 32-bit version of our product if you have a 32-bit Access Database driver. You must install the 64-bit version of our product if you have a 64-bit Access Database driver. If you don’t need to import Esri Personal Geodatabase data with our product, you may install either version on a 64-bit Windows platform.
