SymbologyLegend Object

The SymbologyLegend object contains the properties for the legend.

Derived from: Legend object which is derived from Shape object (All methods and properties of Legend and Shape apply to this object.)

The following table provides all the properties of the SymbologyLegend object.

Property	Description
LayerName	Returns the name of the layer represented in the legend.
SampleCount	Returns/sets the number of samples to display for unclassed symbology.
SampleFillSize	Returns/sets the legend sample size in page units.
SampleSpacing	Returns/sets the gap distance between samples in page units.
Template	Returns/sets the template used to format legend items.
