Cut
Click the Home | Clipboard | Cut command or the 
button, or press CTRL+X on the keyboard to move the selected objects to the clipboard. This deletes the selected objects from the file after copying them to the clipboard. Cut objects can later be pasted with the Paste or Paste Special commands.
Only one set of data may be placed in the clipboard at a time. The next Cut or Copy command replaces the contents of the clipboard.
